Floriade 2017

Celebrate Spring at Floriade Festival Canberra

Canberra’s annual celebration of spring is on again this September and October for its 30th year. This popular and iconic event, which started in 1988, attracts more than 400,000 visitors each year.

From Saturday 16 September until Sunday 15 October 2017 you can enjoy the floral displays including more than one million blooms throughout Commonwealth Park, located only a 1km walk from Crowne Plaza Canberra. Entry during the day is free* throughout the festival.

This year’s garden beds, workshops, entertainment and the stunning evening event, NightFest, are all inspired by the theme, ‘rejuvenation’, celebrating the renewal and growth that each spring brings.
