Not only will you feel energised from a walk up one of Canberra’s mountains, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views from the top, and perhaps see some native wildlife on the way. There are several options close to the city centre including Mount Ainslie, a popular spot for picture perfect views over Canberra, or take a walk along one of the  tracks on Black Mountain where, once at the summit, you can take an elevator ride in the 195m Telstra Tower for 360 degree views around Canberra and the surrounding mountain range. A hike up Red Hill provides views of many of Canberra’s national attractions. After all that exercise, treat yourself with a coffee and a light meal along with picturesque views, at Little Brother cafe at the lookout.
