Art Not Apart will also return to the New Acton Precinct on 19 March with exhibitions, performance art, numerous music stages, installations, strange interventions, street food, cafes and a dance party.
Canberra Comedy Festival
If you are after a night of belly laughter, the fifth Canberra Comedy Festival runs from 20 – 26 March, with a jam-packed program of shows from Australian and international comedians to be held at the Canberra Theatre Centre. The line-up includes shows from Jimeoin, Dave Hughes, DAAS, Tommy Little, Stephen K Amos and more. There’s even a comedy show for kids by Josh Earl.
Handmade Canberra Market
On 18 and 19 March 2017, the quarterly Handmade Canberra Market is back at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC). With around 240 stalls to shop at, discover all Australian handmade items including fashion, homewares, gourmet produce, gifts and souvenirs.
And with the Black Opal Stakes, Amy’s Big Canberra Bike Ride and Skyfire, along with a range of other activities, there’s lots of good reasons to visit Canberra this March.
